Karin Kysilka: I'm a lawyer turned homemaker, with an active preschooler. Our little guy was born with severe breathing difficulties, resulting in his being trached at 3 weeks of age and decannulated at 20 months. His presence in our life has given us new perspectives on life, sorrow, laughter, and most of all, irony. The Universe really does have a sense of humor ... you just have to be paying attention.
